My navigation unit provides me with the wrong map distance?

Check the satellite reception and the speed pulse connection of your navigation unit.
You can do this via the following procedure:
1) Enter Menu mode
2) Select info
3) Select connections or settings
4) Select hardware or hardware info (depending on the model).
The satellite indication should at least have 5 coloured icons. If this is ok, go back in the menu, go to 3D calibration and check the speed pulse. No pulse should be counted while the car stopped. If this is the case, contact your dealer or your authorized navigation installer.
