'Disc read error' is being displayed on my navigation unit and if I check the disc there are a lot of scratches. Can I have a new navigation map disc?
FOR BENELUX
You should go to your dealer and have your navigation and disc checked.
FOR FRANCE
The disc will be checked and repaired by an Authorized Service Centre and, if necessary, the disc may be replaced.
FOR SPAIN
If the device is defective due to bad use, the customer should go to the dealer. You can find a dealer list on our website.
In case the disc was damaged by the navigation unit, please send your unit to an authorized service centre to check, so they can repair or replace the disc.
FOR PORTUGAL
Please go to an authorized service centre where they will check your navigation and disc.
If the defect was due to the device itself during the warranty period, a new disc will be delivered without any cost. After the warranty period the user will pay a 'reduced' cost.
If the defect was due to bad use of the device, the user will pay the full price of the repair or replacement.
FOR SWEDEN
You should go to your dealer to have the disc checked.
FOR DENMARK
Please contact your nearest authorized service centre.
FOR NORWAY
The defect navigation disk must be sent to an approved service centre or to Pioneer Norge AS, or call us at the nr. 22 09 30 50.
FOR GERMANY
The defective map software has to be sent to an Authorized Service Centre or to Pioneer Germany (contact the spare parts dept. at 02154 / 913-300).
FOR THE UK
Please contact Pioneer UK at 0870 600 1539 to purchase a new disc.
NO UPGRADES WILL BE PERMISSABLE. For an upgrade disc, please go to your dealer.
