What is the difference between the AVIC-HD1BT and AVIC-HD3BT?

The hardware is the same.
The only difference is visible in the software of the AVIC-HD3BT, as described below:
-50 new city maps (99 city maps in total). To see them, zoom in to 50m range or distance
-6.4 million POI's (instead of 3.2)
-3D landmarks
-Start-up screen customization
-City search through voice recognition
-Mid sized traffic icons
-Huge increase of existing coverage (esp. Ireland).
