FAQ - Television - KURO

Is a plasma connection to PC through HDMI input possible?

For our older plasma models, it is possible that a picture is displayed, but distortions and wrong positioning of the PC picture can occur, so Pioneer do not support PC signals via HDMI input on these plasmas.
However HDMI from PC is supported on all KURO plasmas (except for PDP-5000EX) - check the attachment for resolutions, audio and sampling frequency requirements.

Note:
- It may take a short while until the image is displayed, depending on the equipment connected.
- When connecting a PC to the HDMI terminal, use the HDMI compliant PC or video card.
- When connecting a PC to the HDMI terminal using a DVI output terminal, the plasma television may not display properly. If that is the case, consult with your PC manufacturer.
- PC picture and/or sound may not be displayed or heard properly depending on the PC used.
