Each barrel is crafted from White Oak – one of the hardest woods known to man.

The value of using this wood is that it makes each speaker extremely rigid – and any vibrations – are fully controlled.

The matured wood of the Suntory Whisky barrels provide a richer, more sonorous sound than would be obtained from using any other virgin wood or synthetic material.

And because each set of speakers is crafted from barrels that have reached the end of their 100-year life cycle, each speaker is indeed a true original.
