Here you can see an example of current Bluetooth mobile phones and their relative
compatibility with our DEH-P55BT & DEH-P70BT (2005 model) CD tuner.

If your Bluetooth phone is not on the list, please visit your local Pioneer car audio shop,
and test your phone out on an active head unit.

Notice:

• DEH-P70BT features a "network indicator" showing whether the mobile phone is connected to the GSM network.

• Pioneer DEH adapts to the Bluetooth spec V1.0 and higher. It is compatible with profiles such as Hand Free Profile, Head Set Profile and Object Push Profile. However the functionality may be limited due to some phones’ dedicated interfacing specifications, even with phones of which the actual Bluetooth specifications and used profiles apply to DEH specifications. Please check the compatibility list or try your phone at the local dealer in case it is not mentioned in the list.



• Please switch DEH-P70BT to the Phone mode before you make a phone call via your phone. DEH does not change the source automatically making a call directly from a phone



• With some phones and when finishing a call, DEH may not go back automatically to the audio source which was activated before the call. In that case, please switch the source manually.



• Some cell phones transpose the contact names when sent through Bluetooth : the first and last name will be shown in a reverse way in the DEH-P70BT phonebook. The easiest solution to avoid this problem is not to use any spacing in the contact name.



• Some cell phones do not transfer the international [+] mark through their Bluetooth interface. DEH has an editing function to add/remove a [+] mark in the history list contacts, please check the user manual



• Users 1 to 5 have a dedicated phonebook memory available when their cell phone is registered and connected to DEH. The maximum number of contacts is : User 1 = 200 contacts, User 2 and 3 = 100 contacts each, User 4 and 5 = 50 contacts each. The phonebook memory is strictly separated for each user.



• The voice tags stored in your cell phone’s phonebook are transferred to DEH via the Bluetooth interface. You simply use the voice commands offered by your cell phone.



• In case the audio reception at receiving side is not optimal (e.g. too silent), please check for the best audio quality on receiving side by positioning the microphone on different locations, close to your voice is preferable.



• Sending a contact from SIM memory may not work with some phones: copy SIM contact to the phone memory first, then send to DEH



• Some phones disconnect automatically after finishing the contact transfer, a popup menu may appear on the cell phone asking you to re-confirm connection with DEH.
