Team Pioneer comes 1st in the initial round of EMMA, the car audio competition

The European Mobile Media Association (EMMA), founded in Germany in 2000, is a series of car audio competitions held across Europe. As a group of winning car audio specialists, Team Pioneer competes in the event with the aim of pursuing the perfect in-car sound using Pioneer’s flagship high end car audio systems.

Recently, the EMMA UK 2009 competition season began at Auto Audio Installations, London. With a collection of exotic cars on display and over 40 cars entered into 15 different categories, the competition had almost twice as many cars entered in it as last years event.

Following on from the 2008 season, Peter Taylor, of Team Pioneer and Team Turners Alarms and Audio, now represents the full ODR RS-II equipped BMW 330SE and Stephen Hanson is competing in his Skoda VRS, now also updated with ODR RS-II range of equipment.

Pete Taylor was judged in the “Master Up to 5 Channels” category, while Steve Hanson entered the “Advanced Up to 7 Channels” category.

Within their respective categories, Team Pioneer is pleased to announce that both entrants achieved 1st place:

Commenting on Peter Taylor’s competition car the Judges said it was the best high quality sounding car of the whole show.
