CNDV-700HD, CNDV-800HD, CNSD-150FM, CNSD-100FM - Map Updates

On this page you can retrieve the unlocking password for your navigation map upgrade.

* Update instructions for CNDV-700HD & CNDV-800HD

  1. 1. Get your Product Device number: Push the Menu Button on your NavGate, → Settings → Hardware → Service Info

  2. 2. Lookup your disc media number (Printed on the media card attached to the disc)

  3. 3. Enter both in the form above

  4. 4. Once you click on the "create your password", you’ll see a 16 digit password appear on this page.

  5. 5. Insert the disc into the NavGate. The device will ask you for the password. Input the 16-digit code.

  6. 6. Once it begins updating, do not interrupt the device. The update will take more than 2 hours. The ignition may be switched off during the “Map Update”. Updating will resume automatically when the ignition is on.

* Update instructions for CNSD-150FM, CNSD-100FM

  1. 1. Turn off the vehicle engine to terminate the system.

  2. 2. Insert SD memory card #1 into the SD slot on your navigation system and start engine to boot up the system.

  3. 3. Installation of updater will start and once the installation is complete, the navigation system restarts.

  4. 4. Insert SD memory card #2 into the SD slot on your navigation system.

  5. 5. When the device number is displayed, please write it down on the supplied Media Number Card.

  6. 6. When the message to ask password appears, press "Cancel" here and turn off the navigation system.

  7. 7. Get password by inputting the device number and media number onto this page and click "create your password".

  8. 8. Turn on the engine to start up the navigation system again.

  9. 9. When the message to ask password appears, press OK to proceed to the next step.

  10. 10. Input the password correctly which you have created on this page then touch "Done".

  11. 11. Upgrade may take approx 40 minutes.

Attention:

  • It is crucial that you do not interrupt the process when the device displays “The program is being updated. Do not turn power off”.
  • Please keep the disc media number; you will need this if ever you go to an Authorised Service Centre.
