Audio Scaler

Pioneer's 'Audio Scaler' technology improves the sound quality of both stero and multi-channel sources (such as CD, MD, DVD, PC Audio) to a level approaching that of DVD-Audio. Hi-Bit conversion first expands the bit length of the linear PCM signal to 24 bits. The result is more detailed sound with less deterioration, closer to the original signal. At the same time, Pioneer's high-sampling digital filter technology enlarges the frequency bandwith, restoring a sense of the high frequencies which were present in the original recording. The final result is a more relaxed, musical sound quality.
