TL-1101h 500W Loudspeaker

The TL-11O1h low frequency loudspeaker is the latest in a line of precision transducers from TAD. The 11-inch (276mm) loudspeaker features a 2.6-inch (65mm) edgewise-wound voice coil, a ferrite magnetic circuit with a high flux density of 11,100G, and a highly rigid pulp cone reinforced with Kevlar fibers.
An advanced heat dissipation design in the voice coil & magnetic circuit contribute to a maximum power capacity of 500W (IEC). This combination results in an extremely efficient device (97dB/W at 1m) capable of powerful sound reproduction and minimum distortion in the most rigorous applications. The loudspeaker diaphragm is laminated with macromolecular film, and its surface specially treated to make it water-repellent and to prevent cone break-up from degrading sound quality.
The frame is made of rigid die-cast aluminum alloy consisting of 5 tension-controlled frame arms which provide precision support for the magnetic circuit and suppress resonance modes. The large input terminals permit direct connection of speaker cables up to 21mm² (4 Gauge) in diameter.
