Amplify the soundtracks from your film collection; the VSX-418 reproduces 5.1 surround sound from the most popular surround formats.
Whether you’re listening to your CD collection or your MP3 player (the system has a front-in mini-jack), what you hear is enhanced and improved. The system has an Advanced Sound Retriever function, which up-converts compressed audio to CD-quality audio; ensuring that you benefit from quality sound, regardless of the original source.
The VSX-418 also features Auto Level Control, which automatically keeps dynamic content fluctuations at a constant level. This means that you don’t have to constantly reach for the remote to restore the volume when you change sources; the system will keep it all under control for you.
